Meeting Minutes for March 14, 2016

 

7:03pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

 

7:35 – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers: Kim-Recording Secretary, Mike Cumberland-President, Brian Jesteadt-Membership,  Jon Hiser-Treasurer, Stephen Gustkey-Pistol Team, George Queen –Membership at Large and Mike Ripley-Jr. Rifle/Black Powder.Tr

Treasurer’s Report: Jon read the treasurer’s report.

Bills & Communications: Jon received our CMP certificate

Pop Machine: Steve reported an income of $18

Rental Committee Report: No range rentals until May. Peggy turned in $1200 from rentals and deposits for upcoming rentals.

Pistol Team: Steve turned in after expenses $118 and reported team doing well. The sectional match is this weekend.

Trap Team: Tom turned in $71.78 for the winter league and said Trap practice has started again every Tuesday at 5pm and everyone is welcome.

Black Powder: Mike had decent turnout for meat shoot and is turning in $45 after expenses. The annual frolic is April 2nd with trail shooting from 9-1pm at the cabin and then 1pm-5pm shooting paper targets up at pistol range with George. Happy hour at the club afterwards and everyone is welcome to attend.

Junior Rifle Team: The team is continuing to grow with some new shooters. Still shooting 1st & 3rd Tuesdays.

Fun Indoor Shoot: In Dickie’s absence, George turned in an envelope of $235 to the club.

Sister in Arms: Nothing to report 

Membership: Brian read and welcomed all new members and collected $635 in dues with $70 going into the maintenance fund and $565 to general fund. We have 88 new members for 2016 which brings our total adult membership to 495. 

Old Business: Jim printed up agreements for the new key system and plans on being at the club on Saturday, April 2nd to issue keys to any eligible members who wish to switch over to the new system. Jim also said he is making progress with the new rifle range.

New Business: Stephen suggested we have a spring clean up day and also a newsletter.
